    Set bankroll

Choose a starting bankroll from $1 to $1,000,000 in whole dollars. Applying it starts a new session: bets come off the table, and statistics and roll history reset.

    How to play

    Crapless craps in a minute

On the come-out roll, a 7 wins on the pass line and the line can’t lose. There are no craps: every other total, including 2, 3, 11 and 12, becomes the point. The shooter then rolls until the point repeats, which wins, or a 7 rolls, which is a seven-out.

    Crapless or regular

Switch games with the Crapless / Regular toggle at the top. In regular craps, 7 and 11 win on the come-out, 2, 3 and 12 are craps, and the point can only be 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10. Regular craps adds the don’t side: don’t pass and don’t come win on 2 or 3, push on 12 and win when a 7 comes before the point, with lay odds behind them. Each game keeps its own bankroll, bets, history and statistics.

    Making bets

Pick a chip, then tap a spot on the layout. Tap again to add more. Right-click or long-press a bet to take it down, or switch on Remove and tap it.

Each number has a Buy strip above it and a Place strip below it. Come bets travel into the number box, and tapping that box adds odds to the come bet sitting there. The pass line can’t come down once a point is set, and a come bet can’t come down once it has traveled to a number.

Low rolls, High rolls and Roll ’em all open at the start of a hand. They win when every number in the set rolls before a 7, and the layout lights up each number as it hits.

    Payouts

By default the table pays whole dollars and keeps the change, like a casino. Hover over or focus any spot to see its payout and the bet size that avoids rounding. You can switch to exact cents in table settings.

    About

Craps Nexus by Mezware is a free place to learn and practice craps, with two games: crapless craps, also called never-ever craps, and regular craps. It uses play money only.

The dice are thrown with real-time physics and read from whichever face lands on top. Every bet pays by the odds printed on the layout, and the statistics panel compares your rolls with the expected distribution.

Your bankroll, bets and history are saved in this browser, so you can pick up where you left off.

Free craps simulator: practice crapless and regular craps

Craps Nexus by Mezware is a free craps practice table you can play in your browser, with no sign-up and no real money. Learn the game, try a betting strategy, or warm up before a casino trip, with every bet on the layout and the same payouts a real casino uses.

Real dice, not a random number

Each roll is thrown by a 3D physics engine. The dice tumble off the felt, the back wall and each other, and the result is read from the faces that land on top, the way a stickman calls a real roll. Thousands of test throws show every face comes up about one time in six and every total matches the true craps odds.

    Crapless craps and regular craps

Switch between two games at the top of the table. In regular craps, 7 and 11 win on the come-out roll and 2, 3 and 12 are craps; the point can be 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, and you can bet the don’t side with lay odds. In crapless craps, also called never-ever craps, only a 7 wins on the come-out and every other total becomes the point, so you can never lose on craps. The trade-off is a much bigger house edge on the pass line: about 5.4% in crapless craps, against about 1.4% in regular craps.

    Every bet, true casino payouts

Pass line and come with free odds, don’t pass and don’t come with lay odds, place and buy bets on every number, lay bets, the field, hardways, any seven, any craps, horn, C & E, the one-roll proposition bets, and the Small, Tall and All bets (Low rolls, High rolls and Roll ’em all). Long-press or hover over any spot to see what it pays.

    Track how you’re doing

Session statistics show your wins and losses, the longest hand and how often each number rolled. Set any starting bankroll from $1 to $1,000,000 and start over whenever you like. Craps Nexus works on desktop, tablets and phones, in portrait or landscape.

Play money only: Craps Nexus is a free practice game and does not offer real-money gambling. Made by Mezware.
